Econometrics (Postgraduate Certificate) - 2012/2013 entry

The study of econometrics covers linear regression models, a wide variety of hypothesis tests, and techniques for estimating systems of equations. Techniques are illustrated with economic examples such as models with rational expectations, as well as consumption, production and money demand functions.

The programme comprises two econometrics modules from the MSc Economics:

• Econometrics
• Advanced Econometrics.

Or you may choose two modules from the MSc Financial Engineering:

• Financial Econometrics
• Econometrics dissertation.

We offer Master's degrees in Economics, Financial Economics and Financial Engineering.

Graduates go on to careers in banking and finance, the public sector, in industry, or in research and analysis.
