  • Assessment

    • Assessment varies for each module and may include essays, reports, examinations, presentations; and an independent applied research project (10,000–12,000 words), normally submitted at the end of the final year.　Full-time students complete the same number of assessments in one year.

  • Attendance
      • Normally two evenings a week part-time or three evenings a week full-time. Teaching takes place over three terms.
      • Occasional one-day workshops during term-time.
      • Evening sessions are supplemented by a series of one-day workshops. Additional independent study outside the classroom is also required.
  • Duration
      • Two years part-time or one year full-time.
  • Entry requirements
      • A good honours degree, or equivalent, from a recognised university.
      • A good command of the English　language, both written and oral　(IELTS score of 7.0 or equivalent for applicants whose first language is not English).
      • HRD professionals and consultants with at least five or more years' significant experience in a range of organisations may be considered, even if they are unable to meet the formal qualification requirements.

  • Overview

    • This programme is aimed at those who wish to develop a critical understanding of people and organisations. It focuses on strategic and individual-level improvements, through assessment of the role of human resource management (HRM) in modern organisations, the issues involved in developing strategic aims (including on an international basis), employment relations, and selecting, and leading and developing staff. You will also acquire applied research skills.
