- Spatial Analysis and Statistics
- Programming for GIS.
Year 2
- Applied Advanced GIS Analysis
- Remote Sensing and Environmental GIS
- Modelling for Geographic Phenomena
- Geovisualisation and Web GIS
- GISc Dissertation
MSc: complete Year 1 and Year 2.
Postgraduate Diploma: complete Year 1 and Year 2 without GISc dissertation.
Postgraduate Certificate: complete Year 1.

Further study opportunities
It is also possible to study for an MSc Environment and Sustainability with GIS and an MSc Climate Change Management with GIS. If you are interested in further research, we offer a PhD/MPhil in Geographic Information Science.
