Iznik Tiles: Floral Motifs in Dynamic Arrangements
This practical module studies the exuberant naturalistic motifs that characterise the Iznik style of ceramic decoration that flourished during the Ottoman Turks era. We will recreate a traditional tile design, and you will have the opportunity to develop your own compositions. The painting of a chosen design onto bisqueware that will be fired is optional; an additional cost will apply.
