Web Authoring using Dreamweaver
Learn to use Dreamweaver to create web pages, manage the authoring process and manage several websites concurrently. This module uses a tools-based approach to creating, publishing and managing professional-quality websites that comply with the web standards for XHTML, CSS and accessibility. It equips you with the practical skills to be able to design and develop a professional-level website. Topics include: web authoring tools; advanced XHTML and CSS; advanced page layouts; improving productivity with templates and libraries and testing tools; creating accessible websites; and cross-browser compatibility.
(Prerequisite: Introduction to Web Authoring using XHTML and CSS if studying as part of the Certificate of Higher Education; or equivalent basic web authoring skills using XHTML and CSS if studying as a short course.)
15 credits at Level 4
