Understanding Social Policy
This module offers a critical understanding of social policy in Britain today. You will explore debates surrounding the development of social policy and the welfare state, and the impact of social policy on the lives of individuals and groups in society. Using case studies, you will look at topics such as poverty and wealth, privatisation, employment, health, and community care.
