 Doing Anthropology

What is distinctive about the aims and activities of social anthropologists? How do anthropologists actually do anthropology? Why was the discipline of anthropology originally created, and how has it moved on? How is anthropology implicated in the debates that shape the world today? This module examines anthropological contributions to public understanding and discourse, emphasising the unique methodologies that anthropologists use to engage with contemporary issues that affect us all.
