Inside Out: Dissecting the Poem
How do we talk about poems? This module provides a lively and accessible introduction to close reading techniques and the language of poetry. We will identify, analyse and discuss imagery, patterning, structure, music and language in a wide range of poems, including works by William Carlos Williams, Elizabeth Bishop, Ted Hughes and Louise Glück.
15 credits at Level 4
