Academic Writing for Native Speakers of English (NSE)
You will study the structure and practices of British academic writing. Topics include the role of the paragraph, formal English and 'hedging', referencing systems and acknowledging sources, and recognising text types. This module is designed for students whose first language is English or who have completed their education through the medium of English.
15 credits at Level 4
