Introduction to Database Technology
Learn the basic principles of database design and apply them to a small business case study. This module shows how to apply relational database technology in the workplace and is a practical introduction to basic relational database design and development. Topics include: relational database design; normalisation of data; use of the SQL query language for data definition and data manipulation; and creating and optimising SQL queries. This module also provides a practical grounding for further study of information systems.
