Gods and Saints: Introducing the Arts of India
Spanning Buddhist shrines and Jain statues to Hindu temples and Islamic miniatures, India has one of the world’s richest art traditions. Offering an introduction to a dazzling artistic repertoire, this module covers religious and courtly arts in all forms (sculpture, painting, bronzes and architecture), from Mohenjo Daro to Taj Mahal, discovering India’s multiple influences and inspirations.
