Art from the Earth: Chinese Ceramics at Home and in Asia
From the tenth to the eighteenth centuries, ceramics were an important part of the daily lives and economy of the Chinese. This module examines the development of these ceramics, their roles in China, and the impact that they had on the consumption and production of ceramics in Asia in such places as Vietnam, Japan, Turkey and Persia.
