Introduction to World Arts and Artefacts: West Asia
This core module offers an insight into West Asian arts, with particular emphasis on Islamic arts, from the beginnings to the fall of the Ottoman Empire (early twentieth century). The development of Hinduism and Buddhist art in South-east Asia will also be covered. Visits to the galleries of the British Museum will complete the module.
