The Brontës: Moor, Myths and Melancholia
This module introduces the most famous sisters in literary history: Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë. It will familiarise you with their works, literary influences and legacies. By considering contemporary and subsequent responses to their work, the module will provide an opportunity to examine the development of the Brontë myth that persists to this day.
