Inside Out: Dissecting the Play
Have you ever wanted to say something about a play other than simply ‘I liked it’ or ‘I hated it’? This module provides an introduction to the critical language used for analysing plays. Focusing on Conor McPherson’s The Weir and other plays, it examines dialogue, character and plot as well as structure, themes and language, and shows how to articulate a critical understanding of the play.
