Course structure and modules
-
To gain the Certificate of Higher Education, you must successfully complete modules worth 120 credit points.
You start with one of the core Approaches to Study modules and progress to subject modules in the subsequent terms. All subject modules give ongoing attention to the development of your learning process and study skills. The exploration of questions about equity, diversity and social justice in the contemporary world is an interdisciplinary theme linking the programme's modules.
If English is your second language, you should start with an Approaches to Study with English Language Support module, and you may need to take additional English for Academic Purposes modules alongside your subject modules.
You may, subject to approval, count modules from other Certificate of Higher Education programmes towards this award.
