Development and Globalisation
This module examines the relationship between globalisation and development, and looks at key concepts in globalisation theory that are relevant to development studies. You will gain a sound understanding of the impact of globalisation on developing countries. Topics covered include: economic insecurity and livelihoods; identity and culture; aid; migration; war; trade; and counter-globalisation forces.
