Introductions: Understanding the Social World
This module will give you a broad experience of what it is like to study the social sciences in higher education, introducing you to learning processes, study skills, and information and communication technologies needed for successful study. You will be encouraged to explore connections between the study of subjects like psychology, sociology and politics, and your day-to-day experience of living and working in a diverse and changing society. This is an ideal module to start with if you are new to higher education or have not studied for some time. It provides an excellent foundation for further study in the social sciences.
