Rome: From Republic to Empire


Using a wide variety of literary and archaeological sources, this broad chronological module covers the main historical events and political, social and economic developments which took place from 31 BC to AD c.476, from the last days of the Republic and the establishment of the Augustan principate through to the important administrative reforms of Diocletian up to the end of the Roman Empire in the West.
