
Fundamentals of Information Technology
This course serves as an introduction to IT and its role in business. It covers roles and responsibilities in the IT industry, information systems development, hardware and software, IT security, and the internet and e-commerce. It also incorporates a study skills element aimed at providing you with the skills to create professional project reports, and a personal development planning element to enable you to plan for a career in the IT industry.
Prerequisites: Basic PC and internet skills.

International students who wish to come to the UK to study a short course can apply for a Visitor visa. Please note that it is not possible to obtain a Student visa to study a short course.

If you wish to take more than one short course, you can select each one separately and then enrol onto them together via our online application portal. There is usually no formal selection process, although some modules may have prerequisites and/or other requirements, which will be specified where relevant.
