Management (Certificate of Higher Education)

On our Certificate of Higher Education in Management, you'll gain valuable insights into the practice of management, including the mix of attributes, skills and capabilities that successful managers and leaders require in the modern workplace. We'll help you understand your strengths and how to capitalise on them, as well as identifying those developing in areas that you need to work on. This programme provides an introduction to organisations, how they operate, their structure and culture, and the behaviour of individuals and groups within them. You'll also learn about strategy, marketing, planning, people and change management and how to thrive and succeed in demanding and rapidly changing environments. The programme will also equip you with the transferable skills you need to become a confident, effective manager in an entry-level role. It will help improve your effectiveness in your current position and it will also help toward your future career development or progress into a different career.

You can take modules as stand-alone short courses, or you can complete the whole certificate and use it as a route into undergraduate study. This course is ideal if you are returning to study after a break or if you are studying at undergraduate level for the first time.
