Psychological and Developmental Issues in Childhood

This course, which will be of interest to those working with children, focuses on issues such as bullying, bereavement and abuse, and on conditions such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. It explores the current psychological thinking on the potential impact that some psychological disorders and adverse experiences can have on children's lives and education.

Please note: you must have successfully completed The Developing Child: A Psychological Perspective in order to study this course.

This Short Course can be taken as a stand-alone course or it may be available as part of a Certificate of Higher Education.
