The Criminal Justice Process (CertHE)

This course examines the criminal justice process, both theoretically and in practice, from a criminological viewpoint. It presents an analysis of the process of criminal justice from the point of arrest to the outcome of court hearings. You will examine the agencies and institutions of the law, looking at their roles, responsibilities and discretion in relation to current developments in criminal justice.

This Short Course can be taken as a stand-alone course or it may be available as part of a Certificate of Higher Education.
