Nearly a thousand graduates have celebrated achieving a qualification during this spring’s Graduation week, personally congratulated by Professor David Latchman, Master of Birkbeck, and President of the College Baroness Bakewell, over three days of ceremonies, running from Tuesday 25 to Thursday 27 April.
Illustrating the international diversity of the College’s community, graduates drawn from over 90 countries, from Zimbabwe to Ecuador to Italy, received their degrees during Graduation Week.
Four in ten of those graduating were under the age of 30; half of those graduating were between the ages of 30 and 49; and just over one in ten were over the age of 50.
