From 24 to 29 September 2018, Birkbeck will host its first One World Festival, featuring public lectures, walking tours, food and music events to offer students and the local community the opportunity to meet, interact, and learn about other cultures. All events are free to attend.

Birkbeck last night celebrated the end of the first year of the Compass Project, an initiative which gave asylum seekers access to fully funded study. 20 more students will begin courses through the scheme this autumn.
