Sam Mutter

Sam Mutter is researching the spatiality of contemporary transport security approaches in the UK. In the context of the move towards complexity and ‘resilience’ as a framework for policy and practice across different levels of government and society, he aims to examine how and in what forms responsibility for securing the emergent event (preparing for it and responding to it) produces and is produced by the networked spaces of infrastructure, and the political implications of such processes. His supervisors are Dr. Antoine Bousquet and Dr. Alex Colas.
