SSHP Learning Development Coordinator
The Learning Development Coordinator (LDC) is based in the School of Social Science, History and Philosophy (SSHP).
The LDC is responsible for coordinating and and signposting the learning and academic development support available to students in the School. Whilst working with the Centre for Transformative Practice in Learning and Teaching to ensure support provision is in alignment with student academic support need. The role of the LDC is also to collaborate with colleagues to identify and respond to students’ needs.
An aspect of the role is to evaluate and enhance the study support available for students through working with academic staff and central student support in the college.
The LDC also evaluates and enhances the study support available for students, helping to increase student success and enhance retention.
