Arts Week 2012 - Lydia Syson, a writer, former radio producer and Birkbeck PhD graduate (2003) will discuss her new novel for young adults with Michael Rosen and Jessamy Harvey.

Lydia Syson, a writer, former radio producer and Birkbeck PhD graduate (2003), is the author of a new novel for young adults set during the Spanish Civil War. It will be published by Hot Key in the autumn of 2012. Lydia will read an extract from A World Between Us and discuss the challenges of writing for a young audience about politics, romance and the Spanish Civil War in conversation with Michael Rosen and Jessamy Harvey, directors of the MA in Children’s Literature / Writing.
