The Hirshhorn Museum's bi-level sculpture garden faces the National Mall and features work by some of the best known artists of our time, from modern masterpieces by Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore and Henri Matisse to innovative contemporary works by Jeff Koons, Dan Graham and Yoko Ono. The cool green spaces and geometric reflecting pool offer an atmosphere of contemplation and retreat.

The sculpture garden is open from 7:30am to dusk, daily. The garden is located at the side of the museum facing the National Mall, across Jefferson Drive.

The Sculpture Terrace at the Kreeger Museum was designed especially by architect Philip Johnson in mid 1960s to display collectors David and Carmen Kreeger’s sculpture collection, which includes Henry Moore, Joan Arp and Isamu Noguchi.

Reservations required during weekdays. The museum is open to the public on Saturdays from 10am till 4pm. Admission is charged.

A well landscaped garden of 6.1 acres offers visitors a chance to view the National Gallery of Art’s growing collection of sculpture by artists such as Magdalena Abakanowicz, Joan Miro, Louise Bourgeois, Mark di Suvero, Roy Lichtenstein, and Tony Smith. It also contains a reflection pool in the summer, which becomes a skating rink in the winter.

The garden is open Mondays to Saturdays 10am till 5pm, and 11am till 6pm on Sundays. It is located on the Mall adjacent to the West Building at 7th Street and Constitution Avenue NW
