Situated in the historic quarries of West Rutland the Sculpture Garden greets visitors as they approach the Carving Studio and Sculpture Center. The works are by regional artists. Carving workshops and sculpture events are offered to visitors.

The Southern Vermont Art Center was established by a group of local painters, arising from an annual exhibition of painting in Machester, Vermont that began in 1922. The Art Center’s sculpture garden consists of 40 sculptures.

Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 till 5 pm, and Sunday from 12 till 5 pm. Suggested donation.

The Sculpture Garden, on the grounds of the Vermont Arts Council building, hosts year-long temporary sculpture exhibitions by regional artists. The garden was designed in 2002 by Vermont landscape architects H. Keith Wagner and Associates, and is located in Montpelier’s downtown.

Established and emerging artists are exhibited in this 3.5 acre sculpture park and indoor gallery, representing international artists in addition to those from USA.

Open 11am till 6pm, Wednesdays to Sundays.

Sculptures representing different styles and periods have been placed on the 20-acre grounds of the Wilburton Inn. Innkeeper Albert Levis has developed sculpture trails around the grounds adapted from Formal Theory as part of his Art to Science Project at the Museum of the Creative Process.
