The Maytag Courtyard displays works by Carl Milles and Scott Burton.
The sculptures in Greenwood Park are by artists Bruce Nauman, Richard Fleischner, Mary Miss and Richard Serra. Nauman's Animal Pyramid is a literal stack of large bronze caribou, elk and foxes. Like much of Nauman's work it is enigmatic but impossible to ignore.

Tours can be booked by emailing jcooley@desmoinesartcenter.org.
