Rosalind Franklin Lecture

In 2016 Birkbeck's School of Science commemorated the work of one of its most distinguished alumni, Rosalind Franklin, and her position as an inspirational woman scientist, with the launch of the Rosalind Franklin Lecture.

Each year we will invite a leading woman scientist, whose research covers an area associated with our science departments, to present her work to a wide audience of staff, students and members of the public. This lecture will be part of the School's work to support its Athena SWAN strategy.
