Institute of Physics Grant Scheme

The public engagement grant scheme provides up to £2,000 to individuals and organisations running physics-based events and activities in the UK and Ireland. Projects must take place by 28th February 2019. Applications must be received by noon on Monday 7 May 2018.

Green Man Festival – Science Stalls, application deadline 14 April

Apply to run a science stall in Einstein’s Garden, Green Man’s area of science and nature.

Stalls can explore any science related topic and must include as much interactivity and participation as possible for festival goers; embodying the creative and playful spirit of Einstein’s Garden.

Primary and Secondary schools can apply for funding to carry out science, technology, engineering, mathematics computing or data science, in partnership with researchers. The application must be initiated by the school but researchers may like to suggest this partnership opportunity to any teacher contacts.  Contact the Public Engagement Team to discuss an application.
