Watson Exhibitions

Instituted in 1981 by the late Kenneth Watson, BA, a graduate of the College.

These Exhibitions are open to part-time undergraduate and part-time postgraduate students reading for the BA degree in English or the BA Combined Studies degree including English or a Master's degree in English. The purpose of the award is to assist students who experience hardship in meeting the costs of part-time study (other than payment of fees), such as the cost of approved books or the cost of travel between home or place of employment and the College.

The value of the award varies according to the circumstances of the successful applicants, but will not normally exceed £60 in any one year.

Application should be made to the Senior Tutor, School of English and Humanities.
