Dr Daniella Angueli

Honorary Research Fellow
MSc Clinical Psychology (France), PhD Psychoanalysis (France)

  • My research in Birkbeck focuses on the pathological forms of human instrumentalisation, unconscious states of submission to an authority, especially amongst young people. This research pertains to processes of “abolition” of thought, that is, psychotic states with no apparent symptoms, which often result in extreme social phenomena.
  • I am practicing psychodynamic psychotherapies for more than 16 years.
  • I have been organising a series of seminars and conferences on issues of authority in mental health, crimes and paranoia, family violence, states of pathological alienation, narcissistic pathologies and impassionate relations.
