Professor Miriam Zukas

Miriam Zukas is Professor Emerita of Adult Education in the Department of Psychosocial Studies, School of Social Sciences, History and Philosophy (SSHP). She was the first Executive Dean of SSHP between September 2009 and September 2016, and Birkbeck's Public Engagement Champion between 2016 and 2018.

Professor Zukas is a Visiting Professor at the Leeds Institute for Medical Education (LIME), School of Medicine, University of Leeds.  She was awarded a National Teaching Fellowship in 2008 and a Fellowship of Birkbeck in November, 2016.
