Professor Nazanin Derakhshan
Nazanin Derakshan is a Professor of Psychology at Birkbeck University of London and a former Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellow in Experimental Psychopathology. She has conducted extensive research into the effects of anxiety and depression on cognitive performance. Her recent work focuses on understanding the cognitive and neural mechanisms of attentional control processes in emotional disorders.
