Social life for students

Birkbeck’s Students’ Union provides a lively focus for social activity, and the University of London Union (ULU) – a well-known music venue – is right next door to Birkbeck.

At ULU you can meet students from other University of London colleges and enjoy a wide range of social and sporting facilities, including the largest indoor pool in central London. All this makes for a lively student atmosphere on a city-centre university campus.

And within easy walking distance of Birkbeck is London’s West End – which contains some of the world’s best-known cultural venues. The lively bars, restaurants and clubs of Soho and Chinatown are just down the road, and Theatreland is practically on our doorstep.
