Fees and financial support
The vast majority of our programmes, both part-time and full-time, are taught in the evenings. This means that like many of our students, you can continue to work and build your career alongside your studies, gaining a prestigious University of London qualification to add to your CV.
Fees for courses starting in 2012

- Programme fees are subject to annual increases and are not fixed for the duration of a programme of study.
Government changes to undergraduate fees and funding in 2012
- Please note that the Government’s changes to university fees and funding for 2012 currently only affect undergraduate courses (e.g. BA, BSc, LLB, Foundation Degree, Certificate of Higher Education), not postgraduate courses (MA, MSc, LLM, PhD).
- Programme fees are subject to annual increases and are not fixed for the duration of a programme of study.
Financial support and funding
- Many of our postgraduate courses attract academic funding from external funding bodies.
- If your circumstances change, you may be able to apply for financial support once you start studying - see our overview pages on the My Birkbeck website for more information.
- If you are a Birkbeck alumni and completed an undergraduate degree with us (e.g. BA, BSc, LLB) you may be eligible for a 10% tuition fee discount for a master's programme
