Flexible, modular study
Our flexible approach attracts many non-traditional students, and we offer them the opportunity to fit university studies around busy lives.
Many of our Certificate of Higher Education programmes have a flexible structure and allow you to enrol on individual modules. And if you enjoy it, you can do the next module and build up your credits to gain a certificate. (Note: you should check our course descriptions to find out more about the individual course structure.)
These modular certificates are normally made up of some compulsory modules and some which you are able to choose (option modules). This is a great way to explore a new subject, satisfy an intellectual itch or get back into study after a break.
They are also easy to fit into your busy schedule; many courses are one term long (10–12 weeks) and classes meet just once a week – mostly in the evenings. We also offer weekend courses and summer schools.
