Studying at Birkbeck

• Choosing a course: At this level, we offer a range of courses to choose from: certificates of higher education, certificates of continuing education, short courses, weekend events and summer schools. Find out more about study arrangements for these courses.
• Flexible, modular study: Many of our certificate programmes are flexible – made up of some compulsory modules and some which you will be able to choose (option modules). You can often study these courses at your own pace, taking one or more modules each year, depending on your other commitments.

• Venues across London: Classes are held in central London (WC1), in Stratford, east London and at venues across Greater London in partnership with other educational and cultural organisations.
