Gendered ceremony and ritual

The Leverhulme Trust has awarded a grant to fund Professor Joni Lovenduski and other political scientists to study the gendering of parliamentary ceremonies.

The grant of £870,000 is for research on Gendered Ceremony and Ritual in Parliaments: Disciplining Representation. The team will study Westminster, the Indian Parliament, and the South African Parliament.
