19 October 2009

Professor Joni Lovenduski was awarded the Gender and Politics Award by the ECPR Standing Group on Gender and Politics during the fifth ECPR General Conference in Potsdam, Germany, 10-12 September 2009.

This was the first time the Standing Group has made such an award. The award is a recognition and sign of gratitude of the gender and politics community. The award recognises the winner's contribution to the scientific development of the field and the development of a scholarly network for gender and politics.
