We are delighted to announce the arrival of three new appointments for 2017-18.
We are delighted to announce the arrival of three new appointments for 2017-18:
Dr Sophia Connell will be joining the department from Cambridge University. Sophia's areas of expertise include ancient philosophy, ethics and feminism. She is the author of *Aristotle on Female Animals* (2016).
Dr Kristoffer Ahlstrom-Vij will be joining the department from the University of Kent. Kristoffer's areas of expertise include epistemology, ethics and political philosophy. He is the author of *Epistemic Paternalism: A Defence* (2013).
Dr Mohammed Rashed will be joining the department as an ISSF Wellcome Trust Career Development Fellow. Mohammed's areas of expertise include the philosophy of psychiatry and the politics of recognition. His current research project is entitled 'Encountering Madness: mental health activism, understanding and recognition'.
