Dr Alan Coffee, Associate Research Fellow.
Dr Simon May, Associate Research Fellow, did his PhD in the Birkbeck Philosophy Department. He is the author of several books, some of them academic and others designed for a general audience. Much of his philosophical research is on nineteenth and twentieth century German philosophy, and he supervises MA and research students.
Dr David Mitchell, Honorary Teaching Fellow, is an expert on Ancient Philosophy and Applied Ethics.
Dr Christian Onof, Honorary Research Fellow, did his MA in Philosophy at Birkbeck. His research interests focus on Kant and contemporary philosophy of mind. He now regularly teaches for the Department.
Dr Gudrun von Tevenar, Associate Research Fellow, did her PhD at Birkbeck and now teaches regularly for the Department. Her research focuses on Nietzsche.
Dr Geoffrey Thomas, Associate Research Fellow, is an expert on political philosophy, and regularly teaches for the Department. He is the author of several influential books.
