Biography
Professor Wachsmann joined the department in 2005. He previously worked as a research fellow at Downing College (University of Cambridge) and as a lecturer at the University of Sheffield.

I have long been interested in deviance and discipline in modern Germany, with a particular focus on Nazi terror and the Holocaust, writing about legal terror and the concentration camps.
