Research
Etlyn’s research focuses on the role played by ethnicity in the development of careers in organizations. Her work has examined the ways in which ethnicity may be relevant to how organizations are experienced by minority ethnic employees working in a range of professions. Etlyn’s research has highlighted specific ways in which racial discrimination, social class and ethnic identity may be relevant to the way people experience their organizations and develop their careers.
Etlyn is also interested in career decision-making and career development more generally and the role played by networks and mentors in the development of careers.
