What happens after you apply?

Once we receive your application, we will consider it to see whether:

Interviews

If you are already well known to the potential supervisor and the School (for example, if you have already completed a programme within the School or have already had detailed discussions with School staff), then an interview may not be necessary where it is possible to make judgements about the selection criteria from written and previously obtained information.

Where you are not well known to the potential supervisor and the School and/or if you wish to be interviewed, then this will be undertaken by the potential supervisor, MPhil/PhD Programme Director and one other member of the School MPhil/PhD Committee.
