A total of 1,294 postgraduate students graduated last week, with ten ceremonies held over four days.
Staff and students from across Birkbeck came together to celebrate the academic achievements of over 1,000 students during the College’s Spring Graduations.
Graduation will take place from 3 to 5 May, with ceremonies being live-streamed so friends and family around the world who are not able to attend in-person can share in the excitement of the occasion.
Graduates from around the world celebrated their successes in the virtual Autumn graduation ceremonies, and a number have shared their personal stories in a series of inspiring blogs.

Students from 47 different countries have been invited to take part in the virtual celebrations, being held from 27 to 29 April.
This week has seen thousands of students graduate, with the ceremonies taking place online for the first time in the College’s near 200 year-history.
Staff and students dressed up and tuned in to celebrate exceptional graduates from the School of Business, Economics and Informatics.
Over 3,300 students from 43 different countries have been invited to take part in the virtual celebrations, being held from 2 to 5 November.
A woman in her nineties and a man who has earned his sixth degree are among some of those graduating from Birkbeck this week.
