Budding entrepreneurs invited to Birkbeck's start-up short course

If you have a business idea, are in the early stages of starting up a venture or are keen to set something up in the near future, the Pioneer Programme can help.

Light bulbs hanging from the ceiling

The Pioneer Programme, Birkbeck’s award-winning short course, has opened spaces for non-Birkbeck students for the first time.

Pioneer has been successfully running for three years with Birkbeck students and thanks to its success and exceptional feedback, the course is now open to the public to enable other budding entrepreneurs to benefit from the programme.

Who is Pioneer for?

If you have a business idea, are in the early stages of starting up a venture or are keen to set something up in the near future, this is the course for you.

Pioneer provides a starting point for those on the start-up journey and the skills learnt will encourage you to develop an entrepreneurial mind-set that adds value to every stage of your career.

It's an exciting, motivating and invaluable series of monthly workshops that will give you the head start you need to make your business a success.

What can I expect?

Each month, an entrepreneur or expert in their field will take you through an engaging, informative and practical session filled with tips and advice from those who have been there and done it.

Plus, you'll be part of a community of likeminded, ambitious individuals who will support and learn from each other along the way, maximising your chances of making your venture a success.

Topics include The Entrepreneur Mindset, Marketing Your Start-up, Lean Business, Pitching Skills, Funding Sources and more.
